Super Dodge Ball – NES Game

Super Dodge Ball is a sports action game for the NES built around team dodgeball rather than a realistic simulation. You control a squad of players, passing the ball between teammates and throwing it at the opposing side to drain their stamina; players are knocked out when their energy runs out, and a team loses when it has no one left on the court. Charged and jumping throws unleash special power shots that curve, split or slam with exaggerated force, and these are the main tools for turning a match around. The single-player campaign pits your team against rival squads representing different countries, each with its own attacks and tactics. A versus mode and a free-for-all bean ball mode are included. The chunky sprite art and characters come from the same lineage as Technos’ Kunio-kun games.
