Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II – NES Game

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game brings the coin-op turtles brawler to the NES. Two players can fight side by side, each choosing Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael or Michelangelo, with the turtles’ different weapon ranges affecting how you handle crowds. You scroll through city streets, a burning building, the sewers and other locations, clearing waves of Foot Soldiers with attacks, jump kicks and slides before facing bosses such as Rocksteady, Bebop, Baxter Stockman and Shredder. The presentation follows the late-1980s cartoon, with April O’Neil in need of rescue and Krang looming behind the plot. The NES version includes stages and enemies that were not part of the arcade original, alongside the levels carried over from it.
