Time Lord – NES Game

Time Lord is a side-scrolling action game for the Nintendo Entertainment System in which you travel between different historical periods. Each era is a self-contained stage with its own setting and enemies, ranging from a western town to a pirate ship and other periods, and you must find and use weapons appropriate to the place you are in. You begin each level unarmed, so locating a usable weapon is an early priority, and items can be picked up and swapped as you explore. Combat is close-range and enemies respawn steadily, making positioning important. A time limit applies to each era, and completing a stage returns you to travel onward to the next period. The game uses password-free straight progression across its time-hopping stages.
