Army Men Sarge’s Heroes 2 – Gameboy Color Game

Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes 2 on Game Boy Color adapts the toy-soldier action series to a handheld format, viewed from overhead. You control Sarge through mission-based levels, fighting Tan soldiers, vehicles and emplacements while working toward objectives such as reaching set locations, destroying targets and freeing captured green troops. Weapons and ammunition are collected during play, covering firearms, grenades and heavier ordnance, with health pickups placed through the maps. Stages mix plastic-scale battlefields with human-world settings drawn in sprite graphics, where everyday objects form walls and hazards. Because the levels are compact, much of the play involves learning enemy positions, finding routes and conserving limited ammunition. The game is single-player, with briefing text framing each mission’s goals.
