Battletanx – Gameboy Color Game

BattleTanx on Game Boy Color adapts the tank combat series to a handheld, overhead perspective. You control a tank through a series of urban and open battlefields, destroying enemy armour and working through mission objectives while managing the damage your own vehicle takes. Different tanks and weapon pickups change how you approach each fight, with heavier machines trading speed for durability. Levels are built around ruined streets and structures that provide cover and force you to pick your firing lines rather than charging straight ahead. The setting follows the series’ premise of a collapsed society where roaming gangs fight over territory using military hardware. Play is mission-based, with combat arenas that ask you to clear opposition and survive to the next stage.
