Black Bass Lure Fishing – Gameboy Color Game

Black Bass Lure Fishing is a handheld fishing game for the Game Boy Color built around bass angling. You pick a spot on the water, choose from the lures and tackle available to you, then cast and retrieve, working the lure to draw a strike. When a bass takes the bait, play shifts to the fight itself, where you reel in while managing line tension so the fish does not break off. Catches are weighed, so the goal is landing heavier fish rather than simply filling a count, and that means paying attention to where fish are holding and which lure suits the situation. The game uses simple overhead and underwater views, with menus for selecting equipment between casts.
