Bonkers – SNES Game

Bonkers for the Super Nintendo is a side-scrolling platform game featuring Bonkers D. Bobcat, the cartoon police officer from the Disney animated series. You guide Bonkers through a series of stages, jumping between platforms, avoiding hazards and dealing with enemies as you pursue criminals through the city and other locations. The presentation follows the cartoon closely, with bright sprite work, exaggerated animation and slapstick touches built into the level design. Play is single-player, with progress made by reaching the end of each stage and handling the obstacles placed along the route. This is a separate game from the Sega Genesis release that shares the same name, with its own layout and design rather than being a straight port.
