Day Dreamin’ Davey – NES Game

Day Dreamin’ Davey casts you as a schoolboy whose attention drifts during class, sending the game into the fantasy worlds he imagines. Each daydream drops Davey into a different setting and historical fantasy scenario, where he explores areas from an overhead viewpoint, fights enemies, gathers items and solves simple obstacles before returning to the classroom. The action mixes light adventure elements with straightforward combat, and the environments change substantially from one dream to the next, so the look and the tools you use shift as you progress. Between segments the game returns to the school framing, tying the sequences together. It is a single-player title with password-style continuation typical of NES action-adventure games of its era.
