Deep Duck Trouble – Sega Master System Game

Deep Duck Trouble is a side-scrolling platformer for the Sega Master System starring Donald Duck. A cursed medallion has left Donald with a hugely swollen belly, and the adventure takes him across a series of themed stages in search of a cure. You run, jump, and attack by swinging a hammer at enemies and at blocks in the environment, working through jungle, cave, and other varied settings. Donald’s belly plays into the design: when it grows, his movement and jumping become more sluggish, so items that shrink it back down matter. Levels hide collectibles and alternate routes, and each area ends with a boss or a tougher challenge before you move on. The graphics use bright cartoon sprites and animation in keeping with the Disney license.
