Desert Strike Return to the Gulf – Gameboy Game

Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf is an isometric helicopter action game adapted for the Game Boy’s small monochrome screen. You pilot an Apache attack helicopter across desert campaigns, taking on mission objectives such as destroying enemy installations, radar sites and vehicles while rescuing stranded personnel by winching them aboard. Play revolves around managing limited resources: fuel drains constantly, and ammunition for your chain gun, Hydra rockets and Hellfire missiles is finite, so you collect fuel barrels and armament crates dropped around the map to keep flying. Missions are structured as a series of objectives within an open area, letting you choose the order in which you tackle targets. Taking too much anti-aircraft fire ends the run, encouraging careful approaches and repeated passes rather than direct assaults.
