Donkey Kong Land 2 – Gameboy Game

A Game Boy platformer following Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong as they work through Kremling-held territory after Donkey Kong is captured. It draws its structure and much of its level design from the Super Nintendo game of the same name, adapted for the handheld’s smaller screen. You control one Kong at a time and switch between them, with Diddy moving quickly and Dixie able to spin her ponytail for a slower, controlled descent. Either Kong can throw the other to reach high ledges or knock out enemies. Stages take in pirate ships, brambles, hives, lava caves and swamps, with animal buddies taking over for certain sections. Hidden bonus rooms and collectibles are spread through the levels, and bosses appear at the end of each world.
