Donkey Kong Land – Gameboy Game

A Game Boy platformer starring Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, built in the style of the Donkey Kong Country games but with its own set of levels. You control one Kong at a time and can swap between them, with Donkey Kong handling heavier enemies and barrel throws while Diddy is nimbler in the air. Stages include jungle, cave, water, treetop and industrial settings, with barrel cannons, ropes, mine cart sections and animal buddies breaking up the running and jumping. Bananas, extra-life balloons and hidden bonus rooms are tucked away throughout, rewarding players who search beyond the obvious route. Kremlings and other enemies are dispatched by jumping on them or hurling barrels, and boss fights cap off each group of levels. Progress is tracked on a world map.
