Dungeon Magic – NES Game

Dungeon Magic is a role-playing game for the Nintendo Entertainment System presented largely from a first-person perspective as you explore dungeons. You guide a party through corridors and chambers, mapping your route, fighting monsters in menu-driven battles, and gathering weapons, armour and magic to strengthen your characters. Between dungeon expeditions you visit towns to buy equipment, rest and gather information for the next stage of the quest. Combat uses a command interface for attacking, casting spells and using items, and characters grow stronger as they gain experience. The game combines the maze navigation of early computer dungeon crawlers with console-style menus and presentation. It is aimed at players who enjoy methodical exploration and careful resource management over fast action.
