Final Fight – SNES Game

Final Fight is a side-scrolling beat ’em up brought from the arcade to the Super Nintendo. Metro City has been overrun by the Mad Gear gang, who kidnap Jessica, and you fight your way through the city’s streets, subway, docks and other districts to get her back. You choose between mayor Mike Haggar, a wrestler with heavy throws and slow but punishing attacks, and Cody, who is faster and carries a knife when you find one. Enemies swarm from both sides, and you punch, grab and suplex them while picking up pipes and swords, smashing crates and barrels for food and points, and facing a boss at the end of each stage. This home conversion supports one player at a time rather than the arcade’s two-player cooperative play.
