Friday the 13th – NES Game

Friday the 13th for the Nintendo Entertainment System puts you in charge of a group of camp counselors at Camp Crystal Lake. You move between cabins and across the camp grounds, switching among counselors as you go, with the goal of protecting children and eventually confronting Jason. Exploration takes place on a side-scrolling map of paths, woods and lakeside areas, while entering buildings shifts the view to interior corridors and rooms where you search for weapons, torches, medicine and keys. Zombies, wolves, bats and crows attack as you travel, draining health. Jason appears without warning, triggering a one-on-one fight; losing a counselor removes them permanently. Fireplaces can be lit to check whether children are still safe, and better weapons found in cabins improve your odds.
