GI Joe The Atlantis Factor – NES Game

G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor is an action platformer for the NES based on the toy and cartoon property. You assemble a squad from a roster of Joe characters, each with different weapons and handling, and switch between them as you tackle stages against Cobra forces. Levels are approached from a map, and progress is not strictly linear: you can pick between routes and revisit areas. Defeating enemies contributes to power-ups that raise your characters’ capabilities over the course of the game, so choosing who to field and keeping them alive matters. Stages mix run-and-gun shooting with climbing and platforming, and end in confrontations with Cobra bosses.
