Jordan vs Bird One on One – NES Game

A one-on-one basketball game for the Nintendo Entertainment System featuring Michael Jordan and Larry Bird. Play is half-court, with one player on offense and the other defending on a single hoop, so matches come down to individual moves, shot selection and timing your blocks and steals. Alongside the head-to-head game, the package includes a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting contest, each played as its own separate event with scoring rules to match. You can play against the computer or against a second player with a second controller. Jordan and Bird have different strengths, so the two players approach a matchup differently. The presentation is simple, keeping focus on the duel between the two athletes.
