Kiwi Kraze – NES Game

A single-screen arcade-style platformer for the NES in which you play as a kiwi bird trying to rescue the other kiwi chicks who have been carried off. Each stage is a compact, multi-tiered area you explore freely, shooting arrows at enemies and dodging obstacles while searching for the captured chick. You can commandeer balloons and other flying craft from enemies, which lets you drift upward through the level and reach areas you cannot jump to on foot. The art style is bright and cartoonish, with themed stages and boss fights punctuating the progression. Levels are short but built for repeated attempts, since a single hit costs you a life.
