Krusty’s Super Fun House – SNES Game

Krusty’s Super Fun House is the Super Nintendo version of the puzzle-platform game starring Krusty the Clown from The Simpsons. His funhouse is infested with pests, and each room is a self-contained puzzle: your job is to alter the layout so the creatures walking through it are funnelled into a disposal machine. That means pushing and stacking blocks, hitting switches, clearing paths and creating routes across gaps, all while Krusty walks, jumps and climbs around the room. Enemies and hazards can be dealt with, but the real obstacle is figuring out the correct sequence of moves, since a badly placed block can make a room unsolvable and force a restart. The SNES release features the console’s larger colour palette and sound. Single-player, deliberately paced, and focused on spatial puzzles rather than action.
