A handheld take on the isometric marble game for Game Boy. You steer a rolling marble through downhill courses viewed at an angle, aiming to reach the goal before the clock runs out, with leftover time carried into the next stage. The marble has weight and momentum, so it keeps moving after you stop pressing the pad, and much of the difficulty comes from steering around drop-offs, narrow ledges and obstacles that can wreck the marble and cost you time. Courses introduce new terrain features and hazards as you advance. The monochrome screen shows a smaller window on each course than arcade or console versions, which means learning routes through repetition. Play is score- and time-driven rather than story-based, with short attempts and quick restarts.
