Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie brings the film tie-in to the Game Boy as a side-scrolling action game. You play as the Rangers, moving left to right through stages, clearing out foot soldiers with a small set of melee attacks and jumps, and facing a larger enemy at the end of each area. Different Rangers appear across the game, and the levels follow the film’s settings and adversaries rather than the television episodes. Controls fit the handheld’s two-button layout, so the emphasis is on timing attacks and spacing yourself against groups rather than on complex inputs. Graphics use the Game Boy’s monochrome shades, with sprite designs based on the movie’s costumes. Stages are compact and built for short handheld sessions.
