Missile Command – Gameboy Color Game

Missile Command on Game Boy Color is a handheld version of Atari’s arcade shooter. Waves of enemy missiles rain down from the top of the screen toward the cities and defensive bases along the bottom, and you move a targeting cursor to fire counter-missiles that explode into blasts. Anything caught in a blast is destroyed, so the game is about leading your shots and placing explosions where incoming missiles will be rather than where they are. Ammunition is limited per base, forcing you to choose which side of the screen to defend. As play continues, missiles fall faster and in greater numbers, and other threats join the attack. The round ends when your cities are gone, making it a score-chasing game built on quick aiming and prioritising targets.
