Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance – GBA Game

The Game Boy Advance version of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance returns the series to 2D sprite-based fighting for handheld play. You select a fighter from a roster drawn from the console game and fight round-based one-on-one matches, using special moves, combos and a Fatality. The style-switching of the console release is pared back to fit the handheld’s two-button layout, and characters can use weapons in combat. Play through a ladder of computer-controlled opponents in single player, or link up for head-to-head matches. Unlockable content is tied to earning currency through fights. It is a compact take on the Deadly Alliance cast and presentation, built around short matches rather than the console version’s larger side modes.
