Pipe Dream – Gameboy Game

Pipe Dream on Game Boy is a puzzle game about plumbing under pressure. Pieces of pipe are handed to you one at a time, and you place them on a grid to build a continuous line from a fixed starting point before liquid begins pouring through. Once the flow starts, it follows whatever path you have laid down, so gaps, dead ends and badly angled joints all mean failure. Clearing a stage requires routing the liquid through a set length of pipe, which encourages winding, roundabout layouts rather than short direct runs. Later stages add tighter grids and faster flow, so you must place pieces quickly and think a few segments ahead. Presentation is simple monochrome graphics and a top-down view of the pipe grid, and the game suits short sessions on handheld hardware.
