Pong The Next Level – Gameboy Color Game

Pong: The Next Level is a Game Boy Color take on the classic paddle-and-ball game, expanding the original idea into a series of themed variations. Alongside a traditional mode, you play through stages that add obstacles, moving hazards, breakable blocks and power-ups that change the ball, your paddle or the playfield. Objectives vary between simply outscoring the opponent and clearing the screen of targets. Controls stay minimal, with the paddle moving along one axis and gameplay resting on reading the ball’s angle and speed. Difficulty rises as later stages introduce faster balls and busier layouts. The handheld version keeps the visuals simple and readable on the small screen, and matches are short, making it suited to brief sessions.
