Separation Anxiety – SNES Game

Separation Anxiety is a side-scrolling beat ’em up starring Spider-Man and Venom, who are forced into an uneasy partnership. You pick either character and fight through urban streets, interiors and industrial areas, punching and throwing groups of enemies and using web attacks along the way. Spider-Man and Venom handle differently, and each has moves suited to crowds or to single tougher opponents. Two players can play at the same time on the same screen, with the second player taking the other character, and a computer-controlled partner fills in during single-player. Levels are broken up by boss encounters against Marvel villains, and health and special items appear in destructible objects and crates. Progress is straightforward: clear the screen, keep moving right and survive the fight at the end of each stage.
