Street Fighter II – Gameboy Game

Street Fighter II on Game Boy adapts Capcom’s arcade fighter to a handheld with a two-button layout, using button combinations and the D-pad to cover the original six-attack scheme. You pick a fighter and work through a series of one-on-one matches, each fought as a best-of-three set of rounds against opponents from around the world, culminating in the game’s boss characters. Special moves use the same quarter-circle, charge and rotation inputs as the arcade version. The presentation is monochrome, with scaled-down stages and sprite work built for the small screen. Two players can fight each other using a Game Boy link cable, and difficulty and match settings can be adjusted from the options menu.
