Super Mario Land 2 – Gameboy Game

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins is a side-scrolling platformer for the Game Boy. Wario has taken over Mario’s castle, and to get inside you need to recover six golden coins held by bosses across the surrounding land. Progress is handled through an overworld map that lets you choose between separate themed zones, such as an area built around a giant mechanical Mario statue and a stage set in space, and tackle them in the order you like. Mario runs, jumps and stomps enemies as usual, with the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower returning alongside a carrot power-up that grants rabbit ears for slow, controlled descents. Hidden exits and bonus areas are scattered through the levels, and coins collected can be spent on a chance to earn extra lives.
