Super Off Road – Gameboy Game

Super Off Road brings the overhead-view truck racing formula to the Game Boy. You race a monster truck around compact dirt circuits viewed from above, with the entire track visible on screen at once. Courses are lined with jumps, mud, and obstacles, and rival trucks will happily shove you off your line. Finishing well earns money that you spend between races on upgrades such as more speed, better tires, improved shocks, and additional nitro boosts, which you trigger for short bursts of acceleration. As you progress, the tracks grow more cramped and the competition faster, so managing your winnings and choosing which upgrades to buy first becomes part of the strategy. The monochrome presentation keeps the layouts readable during tight, lap-based races.
