Super Team Games – NES Game

Super Team Games is an NES title designed for the Power Pad, the floor mat controller you step and run on rather than hold. Instead of pressing buttons, you jog, jump and stomp on the mat’s pressure pads to move your on-screen athlete through a series of track-style events. Races take place along obstacle courses that mix straightforward running with hurdles and other challenges requiring specific footwork. The game supports competition between players as well as solo runs, with results measured by finishing times. Because the input is physical, play is closer to an exercise activity than a conventional controller game, and performance depends on how quickly and accurately you can step. A Power Pad is required to play as intended.
