Tecmo World Wrestling – NES Game

Tecmo World Wrestling is a one-on-one wrestling game for the NES. You choose from a roster of original wrestlers, each with a distinct look and a set of signature moves, then fight matches in the ring from a side-on viewpoint. Grappling is handled by closing with your opponent and timing button inputs to throw, slam or pin, while strikes and moves from the ropes and turnbuckle give you additional options. Matches are won by pinfall or by wearing your opponent down, and referees count out both pins and time spent outside the ring. A single-player path lets you work through opponents in sequence, and two players can face each other directly. Presentation includes cut-in graphics for larger moves during matches.
