Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time is the Super Nintendo version of the arcade beat ’em up. Playing as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael or Michelangelo, you fight Foot Soldiers through New York before Krang’s time travel throws the turtles across different eras, including prehistoric times, a pirate ship, the Wild West and a futuristic setting. Attacks include combos, jump kicks, slides and grabs, plus the ability to slam Foot Soldiers into the screen. Two players can fight through the game together, and there is also a mode for battling each other directly. Boss fights pit the turtles against characters from the cartoon, with Shredder waiting at the end. The SNES release includes stages and options that differ from the arcade original, along with selectable difficulty and password support.
