The Simpsons Bart vs the Space Mutants – NES Game

A side-scrolling platform game in which Bart Simpson discovers that aliens are secretly invading Springfield, disguised among the townspeople. Each level gives Bart a goal tied to a colour or object the mutants need: in the first stage, for example, you spray-paint purple items to disrupt their plans. You explore locations around Springfield, jumping between platforms, avoiding hazards and buying items such as spray cans, cherry bombs and rockets from shops using coins collected along the way. Special glasses let Bart spot the disguised mutants among ordinary citizens. Each stage ends with a boss fight against a Simpsons character, and other family members can be called in to help when you have collected the right items. The presentation uses the show’s characters and Springfield settings.
