The Three Stooges – NES Game

This NES adaptation casts Moe, Larry and Curly as caretakers trying to raise money to save an orphanage from a greedy creditor. You move the trio around a map screen, choosing where to go and which jobs to take before time runs out. Stops lead into short minigames built around slapstick routines, including boxing, hospital and kitchen mishaps, and quiz-style challenges, with cash awarded for how well you perform. Between segments the game uses cutscenes and sound clips drawn from the comedy shorts, complete with eye pokes and head slaps. Play is broken into brief, self-contained bursts rather than continuous platforming stages, so success depends on choosing profitable routes and mastering the timing of each individual event.
