Wordtris – Gameboy Game

Wordtris is a falling-block puzzle game for Game Boy that swaps Tetris shapes for letter tiles. Letters drop one at a time into a well, and you slide them left and right to line them up. When adjacent tiles spell a valid word, horizontally or vertically depending on the rules in play, those tiles clear and the stack above settles down. Leaving too many unusable letters piled up ends the round, so the challenge is balancing quick, short words against holding out for longer ones that score more. Blocks that dissolve unwanted letters and other special tiles give you ways to clean up mistakes. Speed increases as you progress, shortening your thinking time. The monochrome Game Boy presentation keeps the board clear and readable, and play suits short sessions.
