WWF Wrestlemania Arcade Game – SNES Game

WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game is a Super Nintendo conversion of the coin-op wrestling game, and it plays much closer to a fighting game than a wrestling simulation. Wrestlers are digitized actors, and their movesets are exaggerated well past anything physically possible, with fireballs, oversized weapons and cartoon-style attacks used alongside punches, kicks and throws. Health bars replace pinfalls in much of the action, and combos and special move inputs are central to winning. You can play a single-player run through a series of opponents or fight head to head with a second player, including handicap-style bouts against multiple wrestlers. The presentation keeps the arcade version’s loud commentary lines, bright arena backdrops and over-the-top sound effects.
