Adventures of Lolo – NES Game

Adventures of Lolo is a single-screen puzzle game for the NES. You guide Lolo, a round blue character, through the rooms of a tower to rescue Lala. Each room is a grid holding heart-shaped Framers that must all be collected before a treasure chest opens and lets you leave. Standing in the way are enemies such as Snakeys, Skulls and Medusas, each with its own behaviour: some are harmless until disturbed, others shoot along straight lines or block movement entirely. Collecting hearts grants shots that turn an enemy into an egg, which you can then push out of the way or across water, or float on. Rooms are solved by working out the correct order of moves rather than by reflexes, and puzzles grow more intricate as you climb.
