Jack Nicklaus Golf – NES Game

Jack Nicklaus Golf on the NES is a golf game bearing the name of the professional golfer. You play through holes in the usual fashion: read the layout, choose a club, account for distance and terrain, then time or set your swing power and aim before putting on the green. The display combines a view of the shot with course information covering yardage, club and the shape of the hole, and hazards such as bunkers, water and trees have to be planned around rather than powered through. Scoring follows standard golf against par, with rounds played out hole by hole. Multiple players can take turns on the same course, and the game includes practice options for working on drives and putting outside a full round.
