Power Rangers Fighting Edition – SNES Game

Power Rangers Fighting Edition is a one-on-one fighting game for the Super Nintendo based on the Power Rangers television series. Rather than the human-sized Rangers, the roster is made up of the giant robots and monsters from the show’s large-scale battles, so fights take place between towering combatants in side-view arenas. Play follows standard fighting game conventions for the system: you move, jump, block and use light and heavy attacks, with special moves performed through directional inputs and button presses, plus throws and combo strings. Matches are decided over rounds by depleting the opponent’s health bar. Modes cover single-player play against a series of computer opponents and two-player versus matches using both controllers. Character sprites and stages are drawn from the series’ Megazords and villains.
