TaleSpin – NES Game

TaleSpin on the NES is an action game based on the Disney animated series, casting you as Baloo at the controls of his cargo plane. Stages scroll sideways while you fly, shooting down enemy aircraft and obstacles and dodging terrain. A distinctive touch is the ability to flip the plane to face the opposite direction, letting you fire backwards at threats that slip past you while the level keeps scrolling. Cargo and money collected along the way can be spent between stages on upgrades and extra equipment for the plane. Boss encounters cap off levels, and characters from the show appear around the missions. The presentation uses colourful cartoon sprites and a chiptune soundtrack, with straightforward two-button controls for flying and firing.
