WWF Super Wrestlemania – SNES Game

WWF Super WrestleMania is a Super Nintendo wrestling game built around the World Wrestling Federation license. Matches are shown from a side-on ring view, and you attack with punches, kicks and running moves before locking up for grapples that lead into slams and throws. Wearing an opponent down opens the way to a signature finisher and a pin attempt. You can spill outside the ring and keep brawling while the referee counts, and fights are settled by pinfall or countout. The game offers singles and tag team matches against the computer or a second player, with a roster of WWF wrestlers from the period. Presentation is kept simple, with large digitized-looking sprites, arena crowds and short introductions before each match begins.
