Bases Loaded 2 Second Season – NES Game

Bases Loaded 2: Second Season continues Jaleco’s NES baseball series and keeps the format of the original. Pitching and batting are shown from a low view behind the pitcher, so you aim deliveries at the strike zone and time swings against them from the same perspective. When a ball is put into play, the view switches out to the field for catching, throwing and base running. You choose from fictional teams with differing rosters, manage pitchers as they lose stamina, and make substitutions during a game. Options include single games and longer play against the computer, plus head-to-head matches for two players. The presentation is straightforward, with large player sprites, simple animation for pitches and hits, and no licensed league or player names.
