Buzz Lightyear of Star Command – Gameboy Color Game

A handheld action game for the Game Boy Color based on the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command animated series. You take the role of Buzz on Star Command missions, working through side-scrolling stages that mix platforming with fighting off enemies. Movement, jumping and attacking are handled with the Game Boy Color’s small button layout, keeping the controls straightforward. Levels draw their settings and opposition from the cartoon’s science-fiction setting, with familiar faces from the show appearing along the way. Progress is a matter of reaching the end of each stage while dealing with hazards and enemy patterns. As a licensed handheld title from the era, it is built for short play sessions on the go and plays on the Game Boy Color as well as the Game Boy Advance family.
