Captain America and the Avengers – SNES Game

A side-scrolling action game drawn from Marvel’s Avengers comics and based on the arcade original. You pick from Captain America, Iron Man, Vision, and Hawkeye, each with a distinct attack style, and work through stages filled with soldiers, machines, and Marvel villains who appear as bosses. Melee attacks are supplemented by throwing objects picked up from the environment, and some sequences take place in the air rather than on foot. Speech balloons and a comic-panel presentation carry the story between fights. The Super Nintendo version supports two players taking part simultaneously, with both heroes on screen at once working through the same stages.
