Duck Tales – NES Game

Duck Tales for the NES is a side-scrolling platformer based on the animated series, with Scrooge McDuck searching the globe for hidden riches. His cane doubles as a pogo stick for bouncing on enemies and springing over spikes and gaps, and as a club for driving loose blocks and chests into hazards. You pick which stage to visit from a world map, and each area is a maze-like level filled with money, gems and concealed rooms reached by smashing walls or finding secret exits. Helper characters appear along the way to offer hints and items. Each stage ends in a boss fight, and the wealth you gather is tallied toward your finishing total, which affects the ending you see. Backtracking is encouraged, since treasure is often tucked away off the main route.
