Jungle Strike – Gameboy Game

Jungle Strike is a helicopter combat game played from an overhead view, and this is the Game Boy version of the Strike series entry. You fly an attack helicopter across large mission maps, working through objective lists that typically involve destroying enemy installations and vehicles, rescuing personnel and picking up supplies. Fuel, armour and ammunition are all limited, so you have to manage resources between targets and land to collect pickups and recover crew members. Missions are structured so that objectives unlock in sequence, and failing to protect key targets or running dry mid-flight means starting the campaign area again. Movement combines free-roaming flight with strafing runs against ground defences, giving the game a mix of action shooting and route planning on a monochrome handheld screen.
