Krusty’s Fun House – NES Game

Krusty’s Fun House is a puzzle-platform game built around The Simpsons’ Krusty the Clown, whose funhouse has been overrun by vermin. Each stage is a single screen-based room where the goal is to lure a stream of small pests along a path to a machine that disposes of them. Rather than attacking directly, you rearrange the environment: pushing and stacking blocks, flipping switches, climbing ladders and clearing obstructions so the creatures follow an unbroken route to the trap. Krusty can jump and can deal with hazards along the way, but the challenge is planning the order of your changes before the layout locks you out of a solution. Difficulty comes from puzzle design instead of combat, and progress moves through themed sections of the funhouse. A methodical, single-player puzzle game with a licensed cartoon setting.
