Pac-Man 2 The New Adventures – SNES Game

Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures is an unusual take on the character for the Super Nintendo. Rather than controlling Pac-Man directly, you guide him indirectly: he walks and reacts on his own, and you influence him by pointing a cursor at objects in the environment and using a slingshot to hit things around him. Pac-Man has moods that change based on what happens to him, and his temperament affects how he responds to obstacles, so part of the game is nudging him into the right frame of mind to make progress. The structure is side-on adventure exploration across connected areas as you follow errands and puzzles, with maze sequences appearing at points where Pac-Man eats a power pellet.
