Robo Warrior – NES Game

Robo Warrior is an overhead action game for the NES in which you guide an armoured robot through enclosed maze-like stages. Bombs are your main tool: you place them to destroy blocks, open routes through walls and clear away enemies that patrol each area. Destroyed blocks and hidden spots reveal items that boost your firepower, armour and bomb strength, and some stages hide keys or objects needed to reach the exit. Enemies move in set patterns and respawn if you linger, so progress depends on reading the layout and using bombs efficiently rather than fighting everything. Later stages introduce tougher opposition and larger maps, with boss encounters punctuating the journey. Play is single-player, and the mix of exploration, item hunting and bomb placement gives it a slower pace than most NES shooters.
