Snake Rattle n Roll – NES Game

Snake Rattle n Roll is an NES platformer played from an isometric viewpoint, where you control a snake bouncing and slithering through winding, multi-level stages. The core loop is eating: small creatures called Nibbley Pibbleys hop around each level, and swallowing them lengthens your snake’s body. Once you’re long enough, a set of weighing scales at the end of the stage will register your weight and open the exit bell, which you must reach before time runs out. The isometric perspective makes judging jumps a challenge in itself, and stages are filled with hazards, moving platforms, water and enemies that can shorten you again. Two players can play simultaneously, controlling Rattle and Roll, and can either cooperate or get in each other’s way while competing for food.
